British Airways has selected Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS) to provide aircraft inventory support for its A380 fleet of aircraft. The agreement, which will last for 15 years and provides an extensive scope of A380 line replaceable units (LRUs), spare parts, repairs and logistics services to British Airways Engineering. In addition, it will feature the deployment of a non-exclusive pool of A380 LRU spare parts at London Heathrow Airport, the major A380 hub in Europe.
British Airways has already ordered 12 A380s, which are scheduled for delivery and use from 2013 onwards.
