Your Journey starts Hanoi, ends Saigon<

Days 1–3 – Hanoi & Halong Bay Arrive in Hanoi where you will discover the Old Quarter by cyclo and historic Ba Dinh Square. Take a day-trip out to magical Halong Bay, and cruise the peaceful waters in awe of this beautiful landscape. A water puppets performance, a visit to the Temple of Literature and free time to relax by Hoan Kiem Lake back in Hanoi await.

Days 4–6 ~ Hue Fly south to Hue and encounter the ancient imperial capital’s tombs, Citadel and the Perfume River.

Days 7–9 – Hoi An
 Hoi An’s architecture, delicacies and friendly local people make her a true Vietnam highlight. Take in the Thu Bon River by boat at sunset. In your free time visit the beautiful beach just a few kilometres outside of the Ancient Town, have some clothing tailored by the experts at one of the countless shops and maybe take in a cooking demonstration at one of the tasty restaurants in town.

Days 10–12 – Quy Nhon & Nha Trang Travel through quiet countryside into the coastal village of Quy Nhon. Quy Nhon has not been developed as extensively as some of Vietnam’s other destinations, and is a relaxing place to overnight off the beaten path. Continue on to Nha Trang for some beach time. A fresh seafood lunch is served on board your boat trip around the islands off Nha Trang; take a swim, do some snorkeling or just enjoy your seaside surrounds.

Days 13–14 – Dalat Explore the Central Highlands’ beautiful French hill station, Dalat. Here you will meet the local hilltribe people and discover a fascinating market – one of the most picturesque in the country. The cooler climate in Dalat means you can enjoy a relaxing stroll around the central lake. Visit the summer residence of the last emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, Bao Dai, before hitting the road for your journey south.

Days 15–18 – Saigon & Mekong Delta In Saigon get to know the sites and sounds of Vietnam’s most exciting destination. A walking tour past some of the iconic sites in District One, such as the Opera House and Hotel de Ville, will help you get acquainted with Ho Chi Minh City. Take a day-trip out to the lush waterways of the Mekong Delta, where you will experience the ‘rice basket’ of this fertile region, and travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels and learn about the tenacity and resilience of the Vietnamese. Depart on day 18.
