Day 1 (BARCELONA – ANDORRA – SEU D'URGELL )
Depart Barcelona towards Manresa, heading north towards the National Park of el Cadí and its Nature Reserve and through the tunnels under the Sierra, finally arriving at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains. Continue north to the Principality of Andorra, where catalan is the official language. Time at leisure to browse its capital city, 3.967 feet above the Gran Valira Valley. Continue to La Seu d´Urgell, for accommodation at the Parador, with its beautiful cloister.

Day 2 (SEU D'URGELL – LLESSUI VALLEY – PALLARS / ARAN NATURE PARK – VALLEY OF ARAN )
Buffet breakfast and departure along the Llessui Valley to enter the Pallars/Aran Nature Park. Continue into the beautiful wilderness of the Valley of Aran. Accommodation at the Parador of Vielha or Arties, at the feet of the mountains.

Day 3 (VALLEY OF ARAN – NATURE RESERVE OF BENASQUE – NATIONAL PARK OF ORDESA – BIELSA )
Buffet breakfast. Departure south along the Noguera Ribagorzana River and through the Nature Reserve of Benasque to arrive in Bielsa, the most important town in the area, famous for its Carnival “fiestas”. Accommodation at the beautiful Parador, a homely Pyrenean refuge.

Day 4 (BIELSA – JACA – LEYRE – SANGÜESA – SOS DEL REY CATOLICO )
Buffet breafkast and departure to Jaca. Continue to Leyre, located on the banks of the Yesa Dam in the Province of Navarra. Free time to see the 11th century monastery which was home to the Cistercian Order in the 13th century, later taken over by the Benedictines in the mid 20th century. Continue to Sangüesa and Sos del Rey Catolico, for overnight at the beautiful Parador “Fernando de Aragon”, built in the typical aragonian style.

Day 5 (SOS DEL REY CATOLICO – PAMPLONA – BURGOS – MADRID )
Buffet breakfast. Departure to the Region of Navarra. Brief stop in Pamplona, famous for the “running of the bulls” in July. Continue to Burgos for free time to admire its beautiful gothic Cathedral where the tombs of folk hero El Cid and his wife Doña Ximena lie. Continue to Madrid to return your hire car.
