Marguerite Bay

Marguerite Bay is a remote region located below 66°33′ South in the Antarctic Circle. The area is known for its almost year-round sea ice, which makes it difficult to access. However, if weather and sea ice conditions permit, visitors can find a rich variety of wildlife in the bay, including whale pods, leopard seals, Adélie penguin rookeries, and other birdlife. Additionally, there are several scientific research bases in the area, making it an important location for scientific exploration and study.
