Day 1: Sat: Venice

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to Venice pier for embarkation. Early evening departure for the Island of Korcula. Overnight onboard. D

Day 2: Sun: Korcula

Arrive Korcula, birthplace of Marco Polo, in the afternoon. Visit Cathedral Square and the nearby family home of Marco Polo. In the evening enjoy a performance of “Moreska”, the island’s unique version of Morris Dance. Overnight onboard. BLD

Day 3: Mon: Dubrovnik

Morning arrival into Dubrovnik. Entering the gates of this ancient fortress city is a step back in time. Your city sightseeing tour features the Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column and the Sponza Palace. You will also visit the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery which houses one of the world’s oldest pharmacies, first opened in 1317 and still working today. Overnight onboard. BLD

Day 4: Tue: Corfu

Morning arrival at Corfu, one of the most fascinating of the Greek Islands. Its picturesque Byzantine and medieval villages were all built at the foot of the island’s hills and surrounded by fortresses, as protection from the Ottoman invaders and pirates. Your island tour will include Achillion, Paleocastritsa and Corfu town with its old Venetian Fortress, St Spiridon Byzantine Church and the historic Garitsa district. Overnight onboard. BLD

Day 5: Wed: Kotor

Arrive in the town of Kotor in Montenegro, in the morning. The Bay of Kotor and the Old Town are both on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The Bay is actually the largest European fjord outside Norway. In addition to your city tour, you will visit Montenegro Riviera and the town’s unique hotel Sveti Stefan. Overnight onboard. BLD

Day 6: Thu: Split

You arrive this morning in the largest town on the Dalmatian coast, Split. Most of Split’s cultural and historical monuments were built within the walls of the 1700 year old Diocletian’s Palace built by a Roman Emperor as his retirement palace. Afternoon free for independent exploring and shopping. Overnight onboard. BLD

Day 7: Fri: Pula and Venice

Morning arrival into the 3000 year-old town of Pula. Your city tour includes the Arena, the second largest Roman Amphitheatre still in use. In the afternoon you sail on to Venice. Overnight onboard. BLD

Day 8: Sat: Venice to Lake Bled

After breakfast and disembarkation, you enjoy a sightseeing tour of beautiful Venice, whose history dates back to the 5th Century. You will visit Doge’s Palace and the famous St Mark’s Cathedral. The earthly remains of the apostle St Mark were laid to rest in the purpose-built St Mark’s Basilica, which was consecrated in 1094. In the afternoon, travel north by coach to Slovenia’s Alps and Lake Bled. Overnight Bled. BD

Day 9: Sun: Bled

Your morning sightseeing tour features the town of Bled, the shores of Lake Bled, and a visit to Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. Rest of the day at leisure. You may choose to visit the old Church which is on a small island in the middle of the lake, housing a collection of religious art. Overnight Bled. B

Day 10: Mon: Bled to Vienna

After breakfast leave for Vienna, one of Europe’s loveliest cities. Overnight Vienna. B

Day 11: Tue: Vienna

After breakfast, your sightseeing tour includes the Hofburg, once the seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Belvedere Palace, Prater amusement park, the UN buildings, St Stephen’s Cathedral and other landmarks, which are a reminder of the city’s Imperial history. This evening enjoy a traditional heurigen dinner with entertainment, in the charming suburb of Neustiff. Overnight Vienna.
