First Night

The grand vessel, TRUE NORTH, extends a warm “welcome aboard” in the pearling town of Broome. Boarding commences at 5:00 PM, granting ample opportunity to mingle with fellow explorers over a delightful cocktail. The ship is expected to set sail at around 6:30 PM, en route to Yampi Sound. Once on board, a delectable dinner will be served shortly after departure, for the overnight voyage.

Day One

Start your day in the spectacular Kimberley with a delicious breakfast onboard TRUE NORTH. Cruise past Cockatoo and Koolan Islands while our attentive crew shares their fascinating histories. Then, get up close and personal with the iconic Horizontal Falls on an exhilarating tender ride and helicopter tour. Enjoy a refreshing swim and walk along the pristine Silica Beach. End the day with a leisurely dinner and wine selection as we set sail towards Doubtful Bay.

Day Two

For early risers, there’s a chance to catch a barra at “Three Ways.” Join crew and guests on a moderate walk to Ruby Falls, where a refreshing swim in a large natural rock pool awaits. Keen anglers can opt for a heli fishing adventure to a secret spot where freshwater meets saltwater. Enjoy lunch as we sail to the unique and breathtaking Montgomery reef, where 140 square miles of coral reef rise from the ocean, exposing a privileged glimpse of another world teeming with marine life. A helicopter tour provides an even more amazing perspective.

Day Three

Prepare to be amazed by the stunning scenery as TRUE NORTH sails through the majestic Prince Regent River. Today’s fishing targets include mouth-watering mangrove jack and fingermark bream. At King Cascade, we’ll position the ship right under the falls for an incredible experience. More adventure awaits as we take a tender ride to hike, swim, and explore the breathtaking Amphitheatre waterfall. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to visit Jurassic Park via helicopter when the first group of explorers return.

Day Four

Start your day off right by joining an early morning fishing excursion, taking in some stunning rock art, or exploring nature with the ship’s naturalist on one of our adventure boats. Then, embark on a breathtaking helicopter tour to a remote location for an unforgettable picnic, complete with TRUE NORTH’s mouth-watering cuisine and crystal-clear billabong.

Day Five

Begin your day in the magnificent Hunter River, one of the most remote and breathtaking river systems in Australia. With dense mangrove forests and rainforest-covered mountains, the Hunter River offers endless opportunities for fishing, mud-crabbing, bird-watching, and exploration. Take a short hike with one of our adventure boats, or challenge yourself with a hike to Jackson Falls for even more splendour via helicopter. In the afternoon, we’ll sail to Prince Frederick Harbour and enjoy a picturesque sunset on Crystal Beach with delicious hors d’oeuvres, the perfect way to end another adventure-packed day in the Kimberley.

Day Six

Wake up in the beautiful turquoise waters of Swift Bay and join us for an early morning hunt for the famous black-lip oyster, known for their large size and delicious taste. We’ll also explore the nearby Wandjina galleries and fish for light game species like queenfish, giant trevally, and mackerel. End the day with a pearl and diamond party, where you can enjoy a glass of bubbly while trying on exquisite jewelry created by the talented artists at Allure, Jewels of the Kimberley, and Kimberley Fine Diamonds.

Day Seven

The Mitchell River is famous for its large barramundi and crocodiles! Join the adventure boats for a scenic swim at Surveyors Creek or go fishing. Enjoy helicopter flights over ancient land, including the stunning Mitchell Falls. End the day with cocktails and another unique dining experience.

Day Eight

Today, witness the ancient “Bradshaws,” pre-dating other Aboriginal art. Vansittart Bay is known for monstrous mackerels. The Eagle Falls heli-picnic is a favorite. Enjoy a picnic in breathtaking scenery. Meanwhile, the tenders will explore nearby creeks and beaches. At night, we cruise to Koolama Bay.

Day Nine

Experience the stunning King George River, complete with its jewel in the crown – the magnificent King George Falls. After crossing the sand bars at the mouth, explore the falls and take a helicopter to the top for an even more incredible view. Learn about the history of the area, take a stroll at Tranquil Bay, and finish in the frontier port of Wyndham.

Day Ten

Your Kimberley experience has come to an end. At 0800 hours your coach will arrive for transfer to Kununurra.
