Salamanca Wharf Hotel

The Salamanca Wharf Hotel has been designed to provide the guests with every modern comfort and convenience within a beautiful self-contained apartment.

Inspired by the majesty, beauty and colour of Antarctica, the rooms feature extraordinary photography by Antarctic adventurer Laurent Dick.  The crisp and vibrant colours of Antarctica, blue, aqua, golden orange and russet are reflected in the decoration throughout the hotel.

Quality timber finishes and furniture sit alongside colourful curtains, cushions and throws. All the rooms are individually heated and cooled, keeping you in control of the temperature. Most importantly the massive glass windows in every room can be thrown open to let in the famous Tasmanian fresh air.

Functional fully-equipped kitchens featuring quality appliances enable you to cook up a storm if the mood takes you. The kitchen also includes a fully stocked bar fridge full of Tasmania’s best beers, wines, cheeses and chocolate.

Studio Rooms The Queen bed studios are finished to the same beautiful standard as all the other apartments.  The floor to ceiling windows open onto balconies which can be opened to invite in Tasmania’s famous fresh air. The Blackheart Sassafras timber Queen beds are fitted with luxury linen, goose down doonas and come with comfort pillow options. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances and the minibar fridge is stocked with premium Tasmanian beers, wines, cheeses and chocolates. Relax on the Eames leather lounge chair, watching an in-house movie on the smart tv.
	Premium Apartments The premium apartments feature separate bedrooms with Blackheart Sassafras timber King or Queen size beds, complemented by luxurious bathrooms and a separate kitchen, dining and living area. The enormous floor to ceiling windows slide open providing an alfresco feel to the rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances and the minibar fridge is stocked with premium Tasmanian beers, wines, cheeses and chocolates. Loft Penthouse There are four luxurious loft penthouse apartment suites at the Salamanca Wharf Hotel, each immaculately presented with your comfort in mind. 5 metre high windows offer views over Castray Esplanade towards Hobart’s harbour or to Salamanca Place with views across Princes Park. With floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, you can open up your room to let the view inside. Every Saturday morning, come rain, hail or shine, Salamanca Place is transformed into Salamanca Market. The famous strip is filled with colourful tents, stalls and caravans selling an amazing variety of local craft, fresh food, flowers and second-hand treasures.

There are buskers and entertainers keeping the wandering crowds entertained and when you need refreshment the many cafes, pubs and coffee shops in Salamanca are all in full-service mode.
