The Peninsula Bangkok has created a new Thai-style lounge at its Thiptara restaurant, which overlooks the Chao Praya River. Set in a raised sala (Thai-style pavilion), the new area is designed for pre- and post-dinner drinks and evening cocktails. It features traditional Thai cushions, bolsters and low tables, along with hanging lanterns and traditional Thai artworks and artefacts.
