British Airways has announced that all of its aircraft flying from Australia will feature its “exquisite new First Class cabin" by March next year, with the upgraded offering now being fitted to its 747- 400 fleet.
The move will follow the discontinuation of their Sydney to Bangkok service early next year as part of the revamp of its Joint Services Agreement with Qantas.
Currently the 747s operate on the Bangkok route, but the change will see the current 777 flights via Singapore upgraded to the larger aircraft, all with the new premium cabin.
British Airways has also said that the new First Class will also be offered on its daily connecting 747 and 777 flights from Hong Kong.
