The regularly updated Sepang International Circuit of Malaysia, is a great spectators circuit, built in a stadium-like manner. The circuit lays in a valley which enables you to see almost half of the circuit at all times irrespective of where you sit, in terms of grandstand tickets purchased.
The overwhelming heat and humidity are physically wearing for the drivers in a way experienced at no other venue on the calendar. It is a very tough affair for both drivers and cars. April really is the cruellest month in Malaysia, with the highest rainfall of the year and average temperatures of 26 degrees centigrade. Be prepared for some changing weather conditions!
Schedule:
Friday: Practice 1 (10 AM–11:30 AM), Practice 2 (2 PM–3:30 PM)
Saturday: Practice 3 (1 PM–2 PM), Qualifying Session (4 PM)
Sunday: Race (4 PM)
The Circuit:
The circuit is is located about 80 km north of Kuala Lumpur. The international airport of Kuala Lumpur is next ot the circuit.
