Full Itinerary

Day 1

Today you will arrive at Palermo Airport where you will be greeted by your Edrisi guide and transferred to the hotel for a welcome cocktail and dinner.

Day 2 – 

After breakfast, enjoy a tour of the city centre discovering the Anglo-Norman UNESCO sites: the Royal Palace with the Palatine Chapel, the church of San Giovanni degli Eremiti, the church of Santa Maria dell’Ammiraglio, the church of San Cataldo, the Zisa Palace, the Admiral’s Bridge, the Cathedral.

Following lunch you will proceed to Monreale to visit the Duomo, magnificently decorated with Byzantine mosaics, and of the Cloister, a masterpiece of Norman artistic expression.

Day 3

Today you’ll discover the historical market of Capo, which maintained the original characteristics of the Arabian suq.

Following lunch discover the Pupi collection, traditional marionettes puppets of the Pupi opera, immaterial World Heritage followed by a special tour of Palermo: mystery and legends.

Day 4

After breakfast, you’ll head to the medieval city of Erice settled by Phoenicians whose walls are still standing. Then spend the afternoon at the historic Marsala salt windmills and visiting the charming Mozia island before departing to Agrigento for dinner and an overnight stop.

Day 5

This morning you visit the Temples Valley of Agrigento a World Heritage site which offers exceptional historic testimony to Magna Grecia presence in this area, discover the almost completely intact Doric temples, the Punic-Roman sites, the agora, the pagan and Christian necropolises and the subterranean aqueducts.

After lunch you’ll proceed to Piazza Armerina to visit the Roman Villa of Casale were you will be greeted by the beauty of the Roman affresques followed by a transfer to Siracusa, dinner and the overnight stop.

Day 6

After breakfast, departure to Etna and visit its craters on foot (mini trekking with guide). Following your visit to the craters the guide will suggest you to lunch in a typical refuge of the vulcan.

After lunch you’ll leave for Taormina to visit the Greek theatre and the fascinating city centre where you will be able to shop before heading back to the hotel.

Day 7

After breakfast this morning you’ll be transferred to Catania Airport for your journey home.
