Leeward Pavilion

The south-west-facing Leeward Pavilions give you a serene outlook of both the Island and the Coral Sea. They boast a private sundeck, which is the perfect place to capture the warmth of the sun during the day and amazing sunsets at dusk.

Winward Pavilion

The north-facing Winward Pavilions give expansive, postcard views of the Coral Sea and Whitsundays. The beautifully appointed pavilions feature a living room, separate bedroom with a king bed or split twins, ensuite and offer the added indulgence of a private plunge pool.

Beach House

For something truly special, experience the Beach House for the ultimate secluded hideaway. With a main bedroom and ensuite, a spacious entertaining area featuring a large flat-screen TV with surround sound, a 10-person dining room, a private full-sized swimming pool, as well as a separate guesthouse, the Beach House is an indulgence like no other.

Getting There

qualia is located on Hamilton Island. Qantas, Virgin Australia, and Jetstar fly to Hamilton Island daily. Business/first class are not available on these airlines.

Alternatively, from the main land a ferry trip Port of Airlie or Shute Harbour (a 20 min drive from Airlie Beach) takes just 30 minutes, with more than a dozen services throughout the day. qualia guests are met at the marina and VIP transfers are provided.

Private aircraft charter is also available – a return trip from Sydney to Hamilton Island is approximately $22,000 on a Citation Mustang, for up to 5 passengers. Fares are subject to change and availability. There is an additional cost per day standing charge for crew costs. Smaller aircraft’s for up to 4 passengers are also available upon request.

The Long Pavillion is ideally suited for breezy breakfasts. In the afternoon, it transforms so guests can enjoy cocktails and then formal dining in the evening, which includes Qualia’s signature degustation menu with seven courses and an accompanying wine cellar.

The more casual Pebble Beach restaurant is located by the water’s edge. It offers contemporary Australian informal lunching at it’s best. Then guests can relax into an afternoon and enjoy the sun-drenched terrace and beachside cocktail bar.

Alternatively, guests can also order in-room platters or discover other restaurants on the island in their personal golf buggy.
