Taveuni Island Resort offers guests a choice of 12 luxury ocean view bures and one luxury oceanfront villa, each with spectacular views of the Somosomo Straits.
All bures are over 100 square metres in size and have been built from native Taveuni timbers, with floor to ceiling windows on all sides. All bures have king-sized beds and extend into a lounge with concertina doors opening onto a spacious outdoor living area, taking full advantage of the majestic view of the South Pacific and surrounding Islands. Their decor is tropically inspired, with cool tiles, native floral arrangements and watercolour paintings. All feature private romantic outdoor showers with unlimited hot water.
Oceanfront Bures
These stunning bures have spectacular views over the ocean and surrounding islands. The bures are built of native Fijian timbers which creates a casual tropical elegance, they have towering ceilings and luxury fittings.
From your romantic canopy king sized bed, you can enjoy the stunning sea views, as two walls opening out onto the spacious covered decks. The bedrooms are ensuite with his and hers vanities and indoor and outdoor romantic private shower courtyards with unlimited hotwater, beautiful imported fine white linen, housecoats and slippers.
The lounge also opens on two sides onto the deck and has day beds and comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture, air-conditioning, fans or natural airflow. Coffee and tea facilities, fresh cookies daily, mini bar.
