Banff National Park

Banff National Park is located in Southwestern Alberta, Canada, and was established in 1885. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was Canada’s first national park and the third in the world. Banff national park is 6,641 square kilometers and has an excess of 1,600 kilometers of hiking trails with 2,468 campsites.

Banff National Park is open all year long with the peak season being July and August. All visitors require a permit which is available at the park entry gates and visitor centers.
